Painted Architecture


Until January 22 of 2012.- The painted architecture was one of the options chosen by many artists to highlight the scenes and episodes depicted in his paintings, great painters of the orbit both Mediterranean and Northern Europe: Duccio di Buoninsegna, Canaletto, Giovanni Paolo Panini, Tintoretto, Gaspar van Wittel, Hubert Robert, Maerten vanHeemskerk or Vredeman Hans de Vries, among others.

These funds will be the architectural theme of this exhibition, which will run from thefourteenth to the eighteenth century. The project was stopped in both general aspects, in order to show the public the evolution of these sets, as in the range of nuances thatcontribute to their independence as a genre, and in the seventeenth century.
