Knowledge Travelers (Viajeros por el conocimiento)


Until April 24, 2011.- This exhibition is dedicated to scientific expeditions and trips leading archaeologists, anthropologists, scientists and explorers from several countries staged in the early twentieth century and were invited to present their results at the student residence between 1924 and 1936. The exhibition runs from Howard Carter and the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb, to Hugo Obermaier and the caves of Altamira.

Until March 31, 2011.- The photographer Ãngel Fernández Rincón, through dozens of snapshots, shows us dimensions, perspectives, colors and shapes unimaginable from the ground: in random drawings farmlands, islands in seas dusty, icy forests, castles, bridges, buildings and urban landmarks. Images of cityscapes travel exposure, water, rural and historical. Sometimes they are figurative abstraction and other cutting edge rub.
